Balsam IT is a dynamic IT institution that is the preferred choice for specialized programs in computer proficiency, software development, IT security, and related diploma programs.
Our courses are designed to impart first-hand practical knowledge as well as comprehensive theoretical expertise to our students. Our objective is to enable young students to think logically towards providing smart solutions.
The training program comprises Hardware and Software Development, Database Administration, Networking, and Systems Administration. There are additional training programs in Cloud Computing, Information Security and other specialized courses.
Our goal is to help in nurturing and sustaining careers in the Information Technology Domain − hence we cater to demands from both the corporate sector and the education institutions− in the field of Information Technology.
In the year 2016, the first school was established as a PCN ICT training centre. It offered ICT (Information and Communication Technology) training programs for industry professionals as well as students. By the year 2019, the institute expanded to include training in technical and vocational subjects. The new and more advanced school was renamed ‘Balsam Institute of Science & Technology (BIT)’. The motto of this new school is “The Standard of Excellence, an Education for Life”.
Balsam Institute of Science & Technology (BIT) was established in 2016 as the PCN ICT training center. The name was changed to Balsam Institute of Science & Technology (BIT) in 2019 when the institute was expanded to include the training of students in various technical and vocational subjects. All our courses are approved by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
Currently, BIT is offering Professional Diploma and Certificate courses in Hardware and Software Development, Database Administration, Networking, and Systems Administration. There are additional training programs in Cloud Computing, Information Security and other specialized courses. The programs and courses offered by Balsam IT have the flexibility to evolve in response to new and updated requirements. Our programs are intended to build a solid foundation of knowledge and develop confidence and creativity in our students.
