The Governing Council is the primary governing body of BIT and consists of entrepreneurs, philanthropists, educators, and visionaries. It works along with the site leader to provide general oversight and broad direction to the institute. Its role is to provide advisory and governance support to Balsam Institute and its management team and collaborate towards achieving BIT’s founding vision and goals. Their shared responsibilities include providing educational leadership and site improvement suggestions.
