We at Balsam IT are committed to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students. We believe that good health and academic success are interconnected. As part of this effort, the Institute has established a sickbay on its premises that is open to all students. An experienced nurse supervises the facility. At this facility, students receive prompt medical care, including treatment of common illnesses and ailments. The Adabraka Polyclinic is our referral hospital.

Students are required to enroll in the National Health Insurance Scheme and carry their National Health Insurance cards at all times. Additionally, the admissions process includes a mandatory medical examination.
